The School Council is the 'pupil voice' at Edgebury and exists to represent the views of all the children, giving everyone the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas on how to improve the school. The School Council helps to empower the children to feel they are an important part of the school community.
At the beginning of each academic year, all children in Years 2 to 6 vote for one boy and one girl in their class to represent them on the School Council. This role is held for the whole year. The School Council meets weekly and is overseen by the Children, Family and Staff Wellbeing Manager.
The School Council is also involved in fundraising and produces a newsletter each term.
