A healthy and enjoyable lunch is an important part of the school day. At Edgebury, our school meals are provided by Harrison Catering Services, whose dedicated cooks prepare fresh, balanced and delicious food for our pupils. Meals are designed to give children the energy and nutrition they need to learn, play and thrive throughout the day.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

We want every child to be able to enjoy school meals safely and confidently. Harrison Catering Services can support a range of allergies and dietary requirements. Parents and carers should ensure that the school has complete and up-to-date information about any allergies, intolerances or medical dietary needs. Please contact the school office if your child requires a special menu or dietary arrangement.

Paying for School Meals
​
Currently, school lunches are free to all pupils thanks to the Mayor of London policy to provide universal free school meals to all state funded London primary schools. If there is a new Mayor of London who changes this policy, we at Edgebury will update parents on costs for school meals.

Packed Lunches
​
Children may bring a packed lunch from home. We ask families to provide a balanced meal and to follow the school’s guidance on allergies and restricted foods. Please ensure that lunchboxes and drinks bottles are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
