Chair of Governors: Martin Winter

Edgebury Primary School is supported by a committed Governing Board, chaired by Martin Winter. Governors work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to help shape the strategic direction of the school and ensure that Edgebury continues to provide the highest possible standards of education, care and safeguarding.

​

The Governing Board brings together people with a range of skills, experience and perspectives. Their role is to provide both support and challenge, helping to ensure that decisions are made in the best interests of pupils and that the school continues to grow and develop.

​

Governors are particularly focused on the school’s educational performance, financial management, safeguarding and long-term priorities. They also play an important role in representing the wider school community and maintaining strong links with parents, carers and staff.

​
