Edgebury Rocks!
Launching in September 2026, Edgebury Rocks is our new school-led band programme, giving children the opportunity to learn an instrument, play alongside others and experience the excitement of performing live.
Music is an important part of life at Edgebury. Following feedback from pupils, parents and staff, we have created a programme designed to provide a consistent, inspiring and high-quality musical experience.

What Makes Edgebury Rocks Special?

Our ambition is for children to leave the programme not only having enjoyed the experience of being in a band, but having developed into confident and increasingly accomplished young musicians.

Lessons will be led by two experienced musicians who will work with Edgebury throughout the academic year. This consistency will allow children to build strong relationships with their tutors, grow in confidence and make sustained musical progress.
Supporting Edgebury
Edgebury Rocks is run by the school, for the school. Any surplus income generated by the programme will be reinvested directly into resources, facilities and opportunities for Edgebury children. By joining Edgebury Rocks, families will be supporting both their child’s musical development and the wider school community.
The cost will remain comparable to our previous music provision, with payments spread across 11 months to help make the programme affordable for families.
