Edgebury Primary School Library

Our library is a beautiful dedicated room with a school garden environment theme, displaying the stunning art work which was created using recycled materials by all classes. All classes in the school have allocated library slots, daily for those changing Accelerated Reader books and all classes have a weekly longer slot to browse and enjoy the stunning library space.

In addition, we have Reading Cloud, this is a library management system. Each child in the school has their own special barcode and they will scan this along with their chosen book’s barcode to loan the book. This will be repeated when they return it. We can then monitor reading habits and choices as well as keep track of books borrowed. At Edgebury we are committed to creating confident, skilled readers and we are sure the children will be excited and motivated by our wonderful  book stock, quizzes and library.
